App Design Agency in Lebanon: What the Design Phase Costs

App Design Agency in Lebanon: What the Design Phase Costs

App design in Lebanon ranges from a few screens to a validated UX sprint; here is what each tier delivers, where Voxire prices sit, and how to choose a studio.

Most Lebanese app projects that run over budget were underpriced at the design stage, not the build. Furrsati's 2026 rate guide puts a handful of app screens at $400 to $1,500, while maxiphy prices a 30-day senior UX sprint at $6,000 to $12,000. Both numbers are honest. They buy different things, and the gap between them is where owners lose months.

Voxire designs and builds apps inside one team in Beirut, so we see the cost of thin design the day it reaches development. Below is what each tier of app design buys, where our own published prices sit, and the checks that separate a design agency from a screen vendor.

How much does it cost to design a mobile app?

In Lebanon, designing a mobile app costs between $400 and $12,000, depending on whether you buy screens, a full interface, or a tested product design. Furrsati puts a full app UI of 10 to 20 screens at $1,500 to $4,000, and maxiphy prices a validated 30-day sprint at $6,000 to $12,000.

Voxire's published floors sit in the upper half of that range, because each one includes research and developer handoff rather than screens alone. An MVP app interface starts from $4,500, a full product UI/UX engagement for a web or mobile app starts from $6,000, and a focused feature redesign starts from $2,000, all listed on our UI/UX design page.

Three things move a quote inside any band. The first is the number of distinct screens and states, including empty, loading and error views that cheap quotes skip. The second is language: a right-to-left layout is not a translated layout, because navigation mirrors, directional icons flip and Arabic type needs its own sizes to stay legible. The third is whether anyone tests the design with real customers before it is built. That third item is where most budgets slip.

What does an app design agency in Lebanon deliver?

A real app design agency delivers tested user flows, a clickable prototype, a component library and a developer handoff file, not only polished screens. The cheaper tiers stop at screens, which is why the table below separates what each price band includes from what it leaves your developers to guess.

Every Voxire design engagement ends at the standard of the bottom row, whatever its size: annotated Figma files, design tokens, exported assets and a spec sheet, so the people building the app never guess a spacing value. Our designers sit next to the developers who build the app. What is approved in Figma is what ships, and that is the practical difference between a design agency and a screen vendor.

Ask who owns the working file before you sign. It should live in your company's account, not the studio's, and that costs little: Figma's pricing page lists a Professional full seat at $16 a month. If the file stays with the vendor, every later change goes back through them.

What is the cheapest way to develop an app?

The cheapest way to develop an app is to design and test the smallest working flow first, then build it once for both platforms. Rework after launch costs more than design before it. Nielsen Norman Group found that testing with 5 users uncovers about 85% of usability problems, so validation is cheap.

This is how a Voxire project starts. The first deliverable is wireframes of the core loop, tested with a handful of people who match your customer before any colour is chosen. A change at that stage takes an afternoon. The same change after development takes a sprint. Once the flow holds, the visual layer and the build follow, and our MVP app interface from $4,500 is scoped to exactly that core loop.

Design for the phone first, because that is where your customers will judge the app. DataReportal counts 5.38 million internet users in Lebanon, a 91.8% penetration rate, alongside 4.76 million cellular connections. The first impression happens on a small screen, in a hand, often in poor light.

For the build side of the budget, our mobile app cost guide for Lebanon breaks down development ranges by app type. If you are comparing engineering vendors as well, our checklist for choosing an app development company in Lebanon covers what to ask them.

How long does app design take?

A full app design takes roughly 6 to 12 weeks, and a focused sprint about a month. Voxire's full product engagement runs 6 to 12 weeks, as set out on our UI/UX design page, and maxiphy runs its UX sprint over 30 working days. A design promised in one week is a template.

Timing depends less on screen count than on decisions. The slow weeks are the ones where nobody on the client side can say yes to a flow. We review work with clients every week from the first wireframe, so feedback lands when a change is still cheap. Founders who need a prototype for an investor meeting get the clickable version before the visual polish, not after it.

How do you choose an app design agency in Lebanon?

Choose the studio that shows a live Arabic app, tests with real users, hands over a Figma file you own, and quotes a fixed price per phase. Those four checks shorten most lists quickly, because few Lebanese studios can answer all of them in writing within a week.

Tap their smallest buttons. Open the last app they designed and try the icons with your thumb. Apple asks for controls of at least 44 by 44 points, and Android's accessibility guidance sets 48dp by 48dp as the minimum touch target. A designer who ignores those rules costs you one-star reviews.

Ask for the Arabic flow, not the English one. Mirrored navigation, Arabic type that stays legible at small sizes and mixed numerals reveal real right-to-left experience. Pasted Arabic text inside an English layout does not.

Ask how many user sessions are included. If the answer is none, the studio is selling pictures of an app.

Ask for a price per phase. Voxire quotes design and build as separate fixed prices, so you can stop after the prototype and take the handoff file to any developer. In our published pricing, a full product UI/UX engagement from $6,000 is one decision, and the build on our mobile app development page is another. One startup product we designed and launched this way went from 0 to 1,200 active users in 90 days, the result shown on our projects page.

What should you actually do this week?

Write one page that names your customer, the single job the app must do, and whether it launches in Arabic, English or both. Send it to three studios. Ask each for a price per phase, a live Arabic app they designed, and the number of user tests included. A studio that answers with one total for "design" is quoting screens.

Then open a Figma team in your company's name before the first file exists. It takes ten minutes. It keeps the design yours, whichever studio you pick.
